Dr. Sara Brooks
Sara Brooks is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She also holds a Doctorate of Music in choral conducting from the University of Alberta, as well as piano performance degrees from the University of Ottawa and Acadia University. Sara has worked extensively as a conductor, sessional instructor, and freelancing musician across Canada.
In 2018, Sara began specializing in musician mental health. In addition maintaining to her own psychotherapy practice at Exhale Therapy in Kitchener, Ontario, Sara now leads workshops on musician mental wellness for organizations across Canada, and maintains two social media accounts to help promote mental wellness in the arts. Sara plans to continue her work in both music and psychotherapy. |
