Drummer/composer Dave Laing has been a fixture on the Canadian music scene for over 35 years, appearing on over 80 CD’s, including Juno-award winning recordings with Ranee Lee and Mike Rud.  He has performed hundreds of concerts and club performances around the world with such artists as Oliver Jones, Joe Lovano, Ed Bickert, Shelia Jordan and countless others.  After teaching for over 30 years at McGill University in Montreal, Dave was appointed Head of Drum and Percussion, and Assistant Professor at MacEwan University in Edmonton Alberta in 2021.
