Mix one part pianist with one part oddball sense of humor, and you get the quirky musical antics of Jan Janovsky. Jan has spent over a decade playing, touring, and directing music. He did this on major cruise lines such as Holland America, Celebrity, Oceania, and Princess. He holds a master's degree in jazz studies from the University of Arkansas. He is a regular clinician and adjudicator for music festivals. He teaches private and group lessons. His students get into top music schools. These include Juilliard, McGill, and Toronto. One of his blind students has made Alberta history by passing the Grade 8 RCM exam.
