CALL FOR INTEREST SESSIONS
Music Conference Alberta invites proposals for the presentation of interest sessions at Music Conference Alberta, held 20-22 October 2022 at MacEwan University in Edmonton.
The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Building Diversity’. A range of interest session topics related to music and music education will be considered, but preference will be given to those that address topics pertaining to accessibility, diversity, equity, and inclusivity. Subject matter may be relevant to school and/or community-based settings.
Sessions will be 75 minutes in duration and should be designed to provide quality professional development for conference delegates. Presenters will receive a complimentary delegate pass for the day of their presentation. Music Conference Alberta is Alberta’s premier conference for music educators and is designed for elementary music teachers, choral conductors, band directors, and studio instructors. The conference is co-presented by Choir Alberta, Alberta Band Association, Alberta Music Education Foundation, and Alberta Registered Music Teachers’ Association.
