Ms. Sheryl Reinhardt is a passionate musician and educator, who is the director of choirs at Western Canada High School, as well as the teacher of the electronic music production program. Sheryl holds a Bachelor of Music with Distinction from the University of Calgary where she studied oboe, as well as a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia where she was the recipient of the Don Wright Scholarship for excellence in choral and vocal music education. She believes learning is a lifelong journey and is continuously seeking to expand her own expertise. Sheryl has performed in a wide array of ensembles including Laudate Singers of North Vancouver, The Cranbrook Symphony Orchestra, a touring indie pop group, Calgary’s own Cum Vino Cantus, and has served as accompanist for numerous choirs. She continues to perform as a soprano in Spiritus Chamber Choir, and as principal oboist of Alberta Winds, of which she is a founding member. Sheryl loves nothing more than getting to create beautiful music with her students and challenging them to discover their potential every single day.
