​Brady Sherard has been teaching for nine years with Edmonton Public Schools in both junior high and senior high settings. He is currently the music director at Old Scona Academic High School, where he teaches concert/jazz bands, choir, and French. As a pedagogical nerd, he is passionate about assessment, educational technologies, and the intersection of teaching music and cognitive psychology. Brady graduated from the University of Alberta with Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Education degrees, having spent a year abroad studying German language and culture at the Philipps University in Marburg, Germany. He has completed graduate coursework in assessment leadership, music curriculum foundations, and Mind Brain Education, and is currently pursuing his Masters of Education degree in Secondary Education at the University of Alberta.
